Pilot Season Episode 5: Queer Eye
This episode we have special guest James Walker, who brings us Queer Eye on Netflix, the reboot of the original Bravo makeover show featuring The Fab Five, five gay men who are experts in matters of fashion, style, personal grooming, interior design, and culture. They overhaul the life of a different nominated ‘hero’ each episode.
This episode is all about BoJack Horseman, the animated series about a washed up actor from an 80’s sitcom, who also happens to be a horse. Insightful, hilarious and heartbreaking in equal measure, there are currently four seasons available on Netflix.

It’s a joy to spend time listening to very funny men in a relaxed and likely boring situation.
This episode is all about Cloak and Dagger, the latest televisual foray into the Marvel Superhero (and Cinematic) Universe. The show is about a pair of teenagers who develop related superpowers due to a traumatic shared incident in their past. The first season is appearing weekly every Friday on Amazon Prime Video.

I was very excited to see the film but left feeling a little underwhelmed. There was certainly plenty of tension and interesting visual choices for a horror film but it didn’t really add up to much by the end.

Seeing Eyes
We’re scared of looking into eyes because it reminds us that everyone we see in the world has an internal life we know nothing about. It’s harder to judge their physical appearance or place them into easily consumable categories if we realise they have known grief and pleasure, they feel the weight of their world every day and have done poos. Loads of poos.
