Hello to you all and happy new year! It has been just over a month since the promise we failed to keep about the next episode of the Televigion podcast and it is high time to explain what is going on.
The heart of the matter is that the time and effort expended to watch so much TV (#firstworldproblems), make notes and record a weekly podcast is currently being used for other creative outputs; namely a focus on writing for James and the start of Woolly Gran as a start up business for Rachel. We still love everything that TV represents for us and all of our listeners, but the episodes of Televigion will no longer be regular or predictable.
To tie off some Christmas loose ends, our favourites of the festive TV selection were
- Peter Pan Goes Wrong : utterly hilarious farce and a favourite with Cyberman 151/Suky too (thank you for the continued support!)
- To Walk Invisible : fascinating and brilliant Bronte story
- Sherlock : with the middle episode being the best of a mixed bunch
- Doctor Who : a fun and satisfying Christmas Special, thank goodness!
We will be back at some point soon, potentially with a new format or additional elements. Thanks for listening and here’s to episode 52 when it arrives!
